I am an Oregon Counselor and a National Counselor who is trained and certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I have undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Western Seminary in Portland, OR.
I have spent the last 25 years helping couples and individuals connect and thrive in their relationships both as a pastor and counselor. For the last 13 years, I have been a police chaplain and understand the unique challenges the first responder community faces.
I have been an Adjunct Professor in counseling at Western Seminary and have taught classes on coaching, marriage and trauma, both nationally and internationally (Sudan, Thailand and Ukraine).
I am a Certified Dave Ramsey Financial Counselor who has helped over 1,600 people find freedom with their finances.
Outside of my counseling career, being with my wife Sandra, spending time outdoors, and photography are my passions.
